Piaggio Aero delivers its 100th Avanti aircraft in the USA

After a very successful showing at the recent NBAA event in Las Vegas, Piaggio Aero Industries announced that the company has delivered , through Piaggio America, its wholly owned subsidiary , its 100th Piaggio Aero P.180 Avanti aircraft in the United States. 

The centennial aircraft, serial # 1216, was delivered today to the company’s biggest customer, Avantair Inc. based in Clearwater, Florida, who operates the world’s largest fleet of Piaggio Aero aircraft with the latest P.180 Avanti II aircraft acquisition taking their fleet size to a total of 57 aircraft. 

Renowned for its robust agility, low operating costs, very comfortable cabin and speed the Piaggio Aero P.180 Avanti II has found strong support within the USA from a vast variety of owners and operators flying many differing missions with the versatile aircraft.

745 km / h. It also has a range of nearly 1500 nautical miles and can fly up to a flight ceiling of 41,000 feet while its occupants enjoy a full stand up cabin that is the most spacious, comfortable and quiet in its class.
Due to its incredible aerodynamic design and overall capability the Piaggio P 180 Avanti is able to operate from many shorter runways within the USA that most aircraft, both commercial and private are unable to fly into.
