Piaggio Aero attending Australian International Airshow 2013 in Avalon, Victoria

Piaggio Aero is one of the protagonists of the highly acclaimed Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition 2013.

The Airshow staged at Avalon has a long standing reputation as one of Asia Pacific's most influential and most comprehensive events of its kind.

The International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition is held over six days, from Tuesday 26 February to Sunday 3 March, at Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria.

Piaggio Aero’s participation at Avalon represents a huge opportunity because Australian economy is robust and the Asia Pacific region is undergoing major growth in defense and aviation, with the budgets in many countries continuing to rise and an ever increasing level of sophistication in technologies, equipment, systems and operational methods.

Due to long distances between urban centers, Australia is a very promising market for Piaggio Aero's aircraft P.180 Avanti II, offering the speed of a light jet aircraft, the comfort of a large, quiet, midsize Jet and real stand-up cabin, with fuel efficiencies that are nearly 40% higher than most business jets.

Additionally because of the aircraft's excellent takeoff and landing performance and perfect pressurization, the Piaggio Aero P180 Avanti II is one of the most widely used aircraft for public services such as air ambulance and air rescue and also flight inspection, calibration and surveillance.
