Piaggio Aerospace to host Operators' Conference for American Customers in Ft. Lauderdale FL
Piaggio Aerospace will host an Operators’ Conference for its American customers in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, on Thursday, March 5, 2015. The conference will provide a detailed update on Piaggio Aerospace’s new vision, mission and corporate structure, the new Customer Support organization, the existing Avanti fleet and technical improvements, and Service Bulletins of interest to current customers.
This Conference is a confirmation of Piaggio Aerospace’s enhanced commitment to its customers. Over the last year, Piaggio Aerospace has signed several agreements with aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) partners, which include Airflite (Perth, Australia), MAJ Aviation (Singapore) and Avalon Aero (London Biggin Hill, UK). These qualified MRO partners expand the network of available Avanti fleet maintenance providers and add support options for the Avanti operators.
At NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in October 2014, Piaggio Aerospace concluded an Authorized Service Center agreement with the renowned Business Aviation FBO and maintenance organization Banyan Air Service, located in Ft. Lauderdale. In the scope of this agreement, Piaggio America has relocated a Customer Support team and its North American spare part warehouse to Banyan’s facilities, which were previously located in West Palm Beach, where Piaggio America’s headquarters remain.
Carlo Logli, CEO of Piaggio Aerospace, said: “With this conference we would like to underline our strong and consistent commitment to customer support and services. During the last few months, we have launched several new initiatives and invested time and resources in this crucial area of our business. This will continue to be our focus in the future in order to build relationships with our customers both in the US and all over the world”.
“Piaggio Aerospace has a long-standing relationship with Banyan Air Service, one of our main MRO partners in the Americas, who already provide a number of MRO services to our customers in the USA. The recent agreement reinforces our relationship and I am certain it will increase the customers satisfaction in the region,” added Giovanni Simonetti, Senior VP Customer Support and Services of Piaggio Aerospace.
