Piaggio Aerospace strengthens its organisation
Piaggio Aerospace announced a new organisational structure, aligned with the international best practices of the hi-tech industry and designed with the objective of favouring value creation, boosting innovation, enhancing excellence in execution and adopting an effective and coherent Through-Life approach to Customers and markets.
The organisation is based on four main pillars, all reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Carlo Logli, and managed by four highly-experienced C-level executives, already part of Piaggio Aerospace’s leadership team. Each one of them is accountable for clear deliverables, reflecting the Company business priorities:
The Chief Financial Officer, Giulio Di Negro and his team are in charge of Controlling, Treasury, Administration, Business & Restructuring Plan and Procurement.Their focus will be to create value.
The Chief Technical Officer, Giovanni Bertolone and his team are accountable for Technical Engineering and Development Strategy. Their focus will be to deliver innovation.
The Chief Operating Officer, Eligio Trombetta and his team manage the Aircraft Business Unit, the Engines Business Unit, Programmes, Flight Operations and Common Technical Service. Their focus is to ensure excellence in execution.
The Chief Commercial Officer, Francescomaria Tuccillo and his team are responsible for Sales, Marketing & Business Development, Communications & Institutional Relations and the Customer Service Business Unit. Their focus is to enhance customer and stakeholder satisfaction and increase sales.
In addition to the four C-levels, a number of corporate functions report also to the CEO, namely Human Capital & Organisation, Legal & Compliance, Industrial Security, Quality and IT. Their common goal is to provide the entire Company with top-class professional expertise and strategic management tools.
