Piaggio Aero at MEBA 2008 the third edition of the Dubai Event fully dedicated to the Business Aviation, to be held from 16th to 18th November 2008

Piaggio Aero will display P180 Avanti II executive aircraft at the third edition of Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA 2008), the three-days event fully dedicated to the business aviation in the Middle East, to bestaged at Dubai’s Airport from 16th to 18th November 2008 www.meba.aero

MEBA 2008 has been organized under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai. The third edition of MEBA show is set to more than double in size over the 2007 event. Around 200 companies from more than 20 countries are expected to be present at the MEBA 2008 event. Total exhibit floor space is almost 27,000 sq ft and some 70 aircrafts on the static display ramp. Around 5000 visitors are anticipated.

The Middle East is now the world's fastest expanding market for business aviation, industry experts forecast that the region will account for $720 million of the private aircraft market this year.

Piaggio Aero will display its latest P.180 Avanti II delivering in the Middle East. The Avanti II achieves Jet performance and is able to reach a certified altitude of 41,000ft and a maximum speed of 402 knots (at 31,000ft). While in flight the spacious cabin sets new standards in comfort, smoothness and extremely low ambient internal cabin noise levels. The cabin provides seating, in a luxury environment, seven plus passengers to travel in unprecedented first class comfort. The first class ‘stand-up’ cabin is six feet wide and five feet nine inches high which is wider and taller than most of the competing business aircraft.
