Piaggio Aero at AirVenture 2009
The P180 Avanti II aircraft will be displayed by Piaggio Aero at the 2009 Edition of the AirVenture that will take place from 27 July to 2 August in Oshkosh ( WI, USA) There's really no place in the world like the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual convention, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh
There's really no place in the world like the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual convention, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The Air Venture is the "Spirit of Aviation," dedicated to keeping aviation fun, accessible, and safe. During the last week of July every year, the family of EAA members gathers and invites the world to participate. Wittman Regional Airport becomes a magical place where innovation, experimentation, and imagination aren't just buzzwords - they actually describe these average-Joe rocket scientists.
More than 2,500 showplanes, including hundreds of warbirds, arrive at Oshkosh this year. The owners, builders and pilots of these unique aircraft participate in the nearly 1,000 forums, presentations, and workshops that take place during AirVenture week.
The Air Venture visitors will be able to discover the Piaggio Aero P.180 Avanti II, the only business aircraft with the speed of a jet and the economics of a turboprop. In terms of outright fuel efficiency, lowering operating costs without sacrificing performance or environmental responsibility and less fuel burn means lower carbon emissions. That's good for the environment. When it comes to green, no other plane save so much.
Discover the extraordinary P.180 Avanti II during the Air Venture 2009 Oshkosh and visit Piaggio Aero at Exhibit Spaces: #450/451/452/453 in Main Aircraft Display just north of Aeroshell Square.
